Although Mikel Arteta’s reign at the Emirates has left fans of the clubs divided, a good number of the fans of the club want the Spaniard to stay put as they believe in his ongoing project at Arsenal. Here is the thought of one of such Arsenal fans.
Do you know one quality about Arteta that’s least spoken about? He doesn’t have any favorites in his squad and doesn’t show loyalty to most of the players in our team.
For example, dumping Leno for Ramsdale clearly illustrates that. A good number of people thought Willian was his darling, but as soon as Nicolas Pepe picked up last season he dumped him too, same with Bellerin.
It can be recalled that he even dropped Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at some point. People talk about how he rates Holding but he didn’t hesitate to dump him as well as soon as White arrived. There are lots of instances like this and I think it’s something that made some section of the players supposedly try and turn against him.
ARTETA has ruthlessness in his veins and I love it. It’s no surprise there were whispers of a dressing room unrest. I want the man to succeed here, he has all the makings of a winner.
The results have to start coming in soon though, he’s at a critical point, which he’s been unlucky to find himself at this point of the season. What he’s trying to do takes time, especially with the level he wants us to start playing consistently.
As long as we can sustain ourselves financially, Arsenal should persist with him, the short-term gains might be nonexistent but the long-term gain has “potentials” to be HUGE and level-changing.
