Jeremy Allen White is an American born on February 17, 1991. He is also a television and American film actor. In the Showtime dramedy series, Shameless (2011 to 2021), he is known for his role as Philip “Lip” Gallagher in the series.
In the first season of the Homecoming (2018) thriller series, he was featured in other movies such as Afterschool, Twelve, The Rental, and After Everything.
He starred in the Hulu drama series The Bear of 2022. In his upcoming movie the Iron Claw, he is to portray legendary Professional wrestler, Kerry Von Erich. The movie will be released by A24.

Early life
White’s parents met in the US when they both moved to New York City where they pursued careers in acting. His mom Eloise is a North Carolina and has a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University.
They both met and performed on the same stage for many years before they tied the knot. Later on, they quit acting and got jobs that were worth supporting the family‘s needs.
White grew up in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. During elementary school, White is known amongst his classmates to be a dancer. He enjoys dancing to ballet, jazz, and tap.
While at 13, White enrolled in a middle school dance program. He was with the Professional Performing Arts School. Immediately after he graduated from the school, he was featured as Philip “Lip” Gallagher on Shameless.
Personal life
On October 18, 2019, White tied the knot with actress Addison Timlin. They have two daughters that were born between October 2018 and December 2020.
