Arcane Odyssey ~ Ash Magic
Ash Magic is available as one of the initial 23 Base Magics that a player can select upon starting the game. Ash Magic is not the strongest regarding damage, but it can work well when combined with Fire and Explosion magic.
It can also be effective when paired with Acid, Magma, Wind, Sand, and Plasma, but Ice and Water magic should be avoided. Ash Magic and Lightning Magic share a similar status effect trigger, which requires 33% damage dealt to a target.

However, Ash Magic’s Petrified status effect works differently from Lightning Magic’s. It immobilizes the target for 0.7 seconds, and it can be triggered by dealing a lot of damage or hitting a target that is already Burning or Charred.
Even though Ash Magic is useful for triggering status effects, it doesn’t have great clash rates and can remove certain status effects like Soaked, Inked, Snowy, and Freezing when attacking.

- 65x clash disadvantage against Gold Magic.
- 75x clash disadvantage against Iron Magic.
However, it clashes neutrally against Lightning Magic and Magma Magic.
Ash Magic deals below-average damage but pairs well with Fire and Explosion. It works well with Acid, Magma, Wind, Sand, and Plasma, but not with Ice and Water.
It triggers a Petrified status effect that temporarily immobilizes the target, but it has poor clash rates and can remove other status effects upon impact.
