All Races in Project Mugetsu

There are currently three playable races In Project Mugetsu namely:

  • Hollow
  • Soul Reaper
  • Quincy

Let’s learn about each race.

1. Hollow Race In Project Mugetsu

The Hollow Race is one of the amazing groups you can play in the game. Hollows are weird spirits with special powers, and they survive by munching on body parts from dead Soul Reapers and other Hollows.

To get your hands on the Hollow race, just chat with Aizen in Karakura Town. After a nice talk with Aizen, he’ll give you a quest to take down a Soul Reaper.

During the mission, keep an eye out for Soul Reapers marked with green dots. Once you successfully finish the mission, Aizen will hook you up with the Hollow race and fly you over to Hueco Mundo.

Regardless, to grow and get better, you need to beat up enemies and chow down on the body parts they drop when they kick the bucket.

These body parts are black and give off black particles. However, they vanish after about 10 seconds. Different body parts are worth different amounts of experience points.

Here’s a quick cheat sheet:

  • Hollow: 1 point
  • Adjuchas: 2 points
  • Vasto Lorde: 3 points
  • Arrancars: 4 points
  • Any big boss in Hueco Mundo (that’s not part of a special event): 8 points

2. Soul Reaper Race In Project Mugetsu

The Soul Reaper race is another choice you can play as in the game. To get this race, just talk with Kisuke in Karakura Town.

Once you’re done talking with him, he’ll give you a mission to defeat a Hollow. During the mission, look out for the Hollows marked with red dots. If you complete the mission successfully, Kisuke will reward you with the Soul Reaper race.

3. Quincy Race In Project Mugetsu

Quincy is a special race with this incredible power to sense dreadful races like Hollows and other souls. But, because this power was too strong, it caused some serious problems and the Shinigami had to get rid of most of them about two hundred years ago.

The Shinigami were worried that the Quincy would go around hunting and destroying all the mysterious creatures they found, which would mess up the whole balance of the worlds.

So now, Quincy is an endangered species, with only a handful of them left. Quincy doesn’t look like the Shinigami at all. The Shinigami wear black, flowy clothes, but the Quincy wear tight, white outfits that kinda look like Chinese dresses or what Catholic priests wear.

It gives them this unique foreign or Western look compared to the Shinigami. You can easily spot a Quincy because their clothes and stuff often have crosses on them, but each Quincy might have a different kind of cross.

Like, one guy uses a Celtic cross, and another dude uses a pentacle. However, to become a Quincy, start with a Lost Soul character that has a chain in their chest.

If you’ve upgraded to Hollow or Soul Reaper, reset or create a new character. Visit the Hospital and talk to an NPC named Fresh; they’ll tell you about a hidden book you need to find in the hospital.

Retrieve the book from a Rogue Shinigami by defeating them and obtaining the key to Room 9 in the hospital’s right-hand corridor.

Use the key to enter Room 9 and pick up the Quincy Book item. Outside the hospital, find an NPC named Douda, and remember his location.

Douda will instruct you to speak to Tyrone in Hueco Mundo. After talking to Douda again, he’ll teleport you to Hueco Mundo.

In Hueco Mundo, find Tyrone and accept a quest to defeat a highlighted red Hollow and take its mask. Return to Tyrone with the mask, and he’ll teleport you to a new area.

Go to the new zone and have a chat with Ywach. He’ll hand you a little bottle of blood, and then move you away back to Karakura town. Equip the blood bottle from your inventory and use it to drink the blood. By then, you are now a Quincy.

Abilities in Project Mugetsu

Abilities are unique powers that everyone in the game can get, but they’re different depending on your character’s race. To get an ability, you have to defeat your Shikai/Resurrecciòn/Vollständig.

Once you do that, you can use and improve your ability. You activate it when the blue bar next to your health is full, but using it makes the bar go down.

How long your ability lasts depends on how spiritually strong you are, and even if you can use certain skills depends on your zanpakuto level, which goes up when you fight your Shikai/Resurrecciòn/Vollständig.

The moves you get from an ability are either different ways of using the same power or different powers that are part of what the ability is about. However, there are diverse kinds of abilities in different groups:

  • Resurrección abilities
  • Shikai abilities

Let’s learn about each ability.

1. Resurrección Abilities

To get your Resurrección as an Arrancar, start by meditating until you reach Meditation Level 5. Once you achieve Level 5 meditation and attain a player level of 15 or higher, you can confront your Resurrección.

If the battle proves challenging, consider bringing party members to assist in defeating your Resurrección, which has a higher HP.

As you grow stronger, the encounter becomes more viable. Repeat the process of defeating your Resurrección spirit to unlock new moves, noting that there is a 12-minute cooldown between each battle.

Moves unlock at different levels: Level 0, Level 10, Level 20, and Level 35 in the Zanpakuto Progression. And, to activate your Resurrección, type the following format in the chat: [Call Name], [Resurrección Name].

The available call names include Howl, Bloom, Roar, Devour, Scatter, Reap, Dance, Fly, Awake, Dash, Burst, Sing, and Growl. For example, to summon Arrogante, type “Reap, Arrogante.” Ensure that you have fists equipped for activation.

2. Shikai Abilities

Shikai is the main ability for Soul Reapers in the game, and currently, there are only 5 available. To unlock it, your Soul Reaper needs to reach at least level 5 in skill or Soul Reaper mastery and then go through the Senkaimon.

Once in the Soul Society, your character needs to meditate until they reach level 20 meditation. Your Shikai, which is a special weapon, will start revealing its name at level 5 of meditation.

When you hit level 20 meditation and reach player level 15 or above, you’re ready to fight with your Shikai. If you’re not feeling strong enough, you can bring your group along to help defeat your Shikai, which has more health initially.

However, as you progress, it becomes more effective to face it alone. To unlock more moves for your Shikai, you simply have to defeat your Zanpakuto spirit repeatedly.

There’s a 12-minute cooldown on fighting it each time. New moves are unlocked at Zanpakuto progression levels 0, 10, 20, and 35.

However, there are different Shikais you can obtain, and to activate them, you just need to type a specific command in the chat.

For instance, if you want to call Zangetsu, you would say “Reap, Zangetsu” (For Ryujin Jakka, it’s a single word like “Ryujinjakka”). Make sure your Zanpakuto is in hand when you do this.
