Early Life
Mason Thames was born on July 10, 2007, in the USA. At 15, he displayed his talent as a talented actor which made movie producers seek him. Mason has been featured in the Universal feature, THE BLACK PHONE, where he starred alongside Ethan Hawke.
He played the role of Finney Blake, a four-time Oscar nominee, a shy but clever 13-year-old boy who’s being held in a soundproof basement by a sadistic, masked killer (played by Hawke). In the movie, Mason could hear the murderer’s victim‘s voice whenever the disconnected wall phone starts to ring.

So, he ensures that what happened to the murdered victims doesn’t happen to Finney. Scott Derrickson directed THE BLACK PHONE (DOCTOR STRANGE, SINISTER, THE EXORCISM OF EMILY ROSE). The movie executive producer is Jason Blum of Blumhouse Productions.
Career
He will be starred alongside Oscar–winning actor and director Mel Gibson in BOYS OF SUMMER as Noah Reed. The movie, a coming-of-age adventure thriller is directed by David Henrie (Wizards of Waverly Place, THIS IS THE YEAR).
In the movie, Noah seeks help from a detective (Gibson) to solve a mystery on Martha’s Vineyard. The movie cast involves Lorraine Bracco and Nora Zehetner.
After featuring in THE BLACK PHONE which was a big success for him, Mason was admitted into the lead role in the Artists Road/Spyglass feature INCOMING. It was directed by Dave and John Chernin – it follows four incoming freshmen as they travel around the terrors of adolescence at their first-ever high school party.

Thames become a full–time actor at 11 years old, but he enjoyed performing while tender when studying ballet. He performed under the watch of a professional ballet company for four years and was the youngest cast member.
Others
In the AppleTV+ original series For All Mankind, on the small screen, he was Danny Stevens. In another movie, he booked the role of Robbie Knievel opposite Milo Ventimiglia (This Is Us, Gilmore Girls) in the limited series Evel. The movie was put to hold when Covid-19 escalated.
