Arcane Odyssey is an adventure game set in a vast and magical world. The game features a variety of magical powers. Among the magical powers, we have Poison Magic. Poison Magic is a type of magic that allows you to control and manipulate poison. It is a powerful magic type that can be used for both offense and defense.
However, if you need a high chance of defeating enemies on the battlefield, Poison Magic is a great choice for that.
In this guide, we will discuss the basics of Poison Magic and many other things. So, let’s get started!
Arcane Odyssey ~ Poison Magic
The type of magic known as Poison Magic is categorized as Very-High DMG magic. Poison Magic is a unique magic that prioritizes area denial and Damage over Time over pure damage. Its attacks generate harmful poisonous clouds upon hitting a surface.
Additionally, it inflicts the Poisoned status effect, which causes damage gradually. Poison Magic is most effective when used in conjunction with Glass Magic and has a favorable synergy with Plasma Magic. However, it is not effective against Wind, Fire, Acid, and Magma Magic.
One of the distinct characteristics of Poison Magic is its advantages and disadvantages in clashes with other types of magic.
Poison Magic ~ Clash Advantage
- Plasma Magic has only one clash power advantage. It has a 1.2x clash advantage against Light Magic.
Poison Magic ~ Clash Disadvantage
- Against Acid Magic, Ice Magic, Wood Magic, Plasma Magic, Crystal Magic, and Ash Magic, Plasma Magic has a 0.9x clash disadvantage.
- Against Earth Magic, Magma Magic, Shadow Magic, Sand Magic, Glass Magic, and Snow Magic, Plasma Magic has a 0.8x clash disadvantage.
- And against Wind Magic and Metal Magic, it has a 0.7x clash disadvantage.
Additionally, Plasma Magic has neutral clash power against Water Magic, Fire Magic, Lightning Magic, and Explosion Magic. Which means it has neither clash advantage nor disadvantage.
Poison Magic is a potent type of magic that inflicts substantial damage over time. It works well with Glass and Plasma Magic, but it is not suitable for battling Wind, Fire, Acid, and Magma Magic. However, it is vital to use it strategically in combination with other types of magic.
